Governance

The Social Studies Council of Alabama is governed by the Constitution and by-laws of the organization as executed by the officers and an Advisory Board.

The officers are to be elected by the membership following the first full year of operation.  The Advisory Board members are nominated by the members and appointed by the President and approved by the other Advisory Board members.
